To reduce risk of finger injury because suspender attachments are often difficult to disengage
It is not a good idea to hold onto the button because it makes suspender attachments more difficult to disengage
To provide leverage when disengaging the suspender attachment
To save the wear life of the suspender buttons
Why should you close all Velcro closures when cleaning?
*
So structural fire fighting hoods, towels and other fabric items do not snag on it
So debris doesn’t collect in it
Velcro is hydrophobic; therefore cleaning with water is ineffective
All of the above

*

Pull forcefully on fabric beside the cap and bottom of snap
Twist first to loosen to save wear and tear
Use a small knife blade to pry open if snaps are difficult to disengage
What is a good method to ensure that the pant liner does not twist inside the leg when assembling?
*
Fold liner back at the knee before inserting
Step into pant after inserting the liner and twist liner until it aligns with the outer shell

The DRD is around the sleeve of the liner when inserting into the sleeve
The DRD is below the sleeve of the liner when inserting into the sleeve
No particular attention needs to be given to the DRD; you must ensure that all attachments are engaged
The DRD is above the sleeve of the liner when inserting into the sleeve

*
The DRD is attached to the liner Velcro at mid-back
The snap at the bottom is engaged
Zippers are engaged on both sides of the liner
Secure the Velcro at the collar.
